Our Meet2Eat group was invited to Kogen’s to try their sushi. Some of our group could not resist their invitation and braved the snowy weather to sample some of the best sushi in the Columbus area. Kogen’s is locaten in the far north west of the metro area. Located at 9711 Sawmill Parkway in a shopping area on the east side of Sawmill the restaurant has plenty of close parking. As you enter, you are greated by a friendly staff and escorted to a seat in their open, airy dinning room.
Kogen’s lived up to their billing as a contemporary and fun, unique and family-friendly Asian fusion restaurant. Inspired by the dry goods markets of Shandong, Kogen’s combines traditional Pan-Asian fare with contemporary flare. Centuries old flavors based on traditional Chinese, Japanese and Thai recipes. Kogen’s boasts a modern setting where traditional Asian motifs intersect with Japanese pop culture.
Besides ordering our choice from the entree menu, each of our group was treated to a chance to try their awsome sushi. The folks at Kogen’s served a sushi boat of some of their finest sushi.
